Corridor Show

When I saw corridor space, wall-size collage work came to my mind. Nevertheless, it was temporal project and Tanya expected her various palette paintings, I decided limited scale and colour in my work to prevent busy looking corridor.

At set-up day, I found small square frames of fluorescent lime green painted on the wall. It was part of Ben’s installation from the precious week. We thought it would be interesting to bring it to part of our show.

I installed my structure to compliment the lime green squares on one side of the wall. Tanya set her paintings on the other side of the wall. She made mapping line with thick masking tape around her paintings to compliment frame shape of my work, Ben’s squares and her paintings.

It was great to see that 3 works in different style by different people harmonised together.
